We know that some of you can only visit Mykonos Casino in the holiday season so with this in mind, you can also play Cash is King and play Slots or Tables using a Rewards card from Wednesday, 1 December until Sunday, 12 December 2021 to earn and qualify for Cash is King draw tickets.

PS – You don’t even need to show up to the draw to be a winner! We’re keeping it Covid-conscious with a non-attendance draw taking place before we even open the casino doors on Monday, 13 December when a total of five (5) winners will be selected. If you are one of those winners, you’ll will receive a personal call and SMS!

What Can I Win?

A total of R60 000 in cash is up for grabs for the promotional period from Monday, 1 November to Sunday, 12 December 2021.

The first selected winner by the electronic draw selector will receive the highest amount and the 5th selected winner by the electronic draw selector will receive the lowest prize.

When Can I Win?

A non-attendance draw will take place at 09h00 before the Casino opens on Monday, 13 December and five (5) winners will be selected.

DRAW MECHANICS FOR THE NON-ATTENDANCE DRAW ON 13 DECEMBER 2021

The Electronic Draw Selector process will be used.

Participants may have more than one ticket, but can only win once on Monday, 13 December 2021.

Participants will be notified telephonically and by SMS if their names are drawn. It is the Rewards member’s responsibility to ensure that Mykonos Casino has up to date contact details on file.

Prizes must be collected and signed for the receipt thereof by the relevant prize winner within 15 days from the date of the draw at Mykonos Casino. The winner will be required to produce a positive and acceptable form of identification (RSA ID, SA driver’s license, or Passport).

How Can I Win?

The promotion is exclusive to Rewards members.

Participants must play Slots or Tables and earn 500 points for a draw ticket between the period Monday, 1 November to Sunday, 12 December 2021.

12-month active carded players will each receive 1 x FREE draw ticket to be entered into the promotion. This is to show appreciation to our loyal members.

500 points is scheduled for all cardholders (gold, platinum and black).

Participants must activate their draw tickets from Wednesday, 1 December until Sunday, 12 December 2021at the eHost at Mykonos Casino.

The non-attendance draw will take place on Monday, 13 December at 09h00.

The promotion will run from Monday, 1 November to Sunday, 12 December 2021. Mechanics will be communicated via the channels used to advertise the promotion.

  1. No person under the age of 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion.
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who fall into the category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion.
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  4. This promotion, Cash Is King, is exclusive to Rewards members and will run from 1 November until 12 December 2021 and the non-attendance draw to take place on 13 December at 09h00 (before trading hours of the casino). The draw mechanics will be communicated via the channels used to advertise the promotion. Participants who wish to be notified via SMS must opt-in to receive SMS communication.
  5. Participants earn points by playing Slots or Tables using their Mykonos Casino Rewards card.
  6. Participants must earn 500 points from 1 November until 12 December to qualify for a draw ticket.
  7. 12 month active carded players will each receive 1 FREE ticket to enter them into the draw (and will be loaded on the e-host for them)
  8. Participants will have the opportunity to activate their draw tickets at the eHost at Mykonos Casino from 1 December until 12 December 2021
  9. Draw tickets cannot be purchased through cash, points or any other form of consideration. Tickets will be issued based on points earned on Slots or Tables during the promotion earning period.
  10. Participants cannot be present for the draw/s, winners will be notified telephonically and by SMS using the contact details provided by the members on the GameSmart System.
  11. 5 Winners will be selected by the electronic draw selector at the non-attendance draw on 13 December at 09h00 by a marketing representative, with an independent auditor present to oversee the drawing process.
  12. The first draw ticket selected by the electronic draw selector will receive the highest prize of R40 000 in cash, with the last drawn ticket receiving the lowest prize available.
  13. It’s the Rewards member’s responsibility to ensure that Mykonos Casino has up to date contact details on our Gamesmart system and winners will be required to produce a positive and acceptable form of identification when they collect their winnings.
  14. Participants may be drawn more than once but can only win once on the 13th of December. A re-draw will take place if a winner is selected more than once on the 13th of December 2021.
  15. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management. The Western Cape Gambling & Racing Board will be notified of any changes.
  16. Prizes must be collected and signed for the receipt thereof by the relevant Prize Winner within 15 days from the date of the draw at Mykonos Casino.
  17. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged.
  18. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
  19. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
  20. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  21. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.

  23. In the case that the Covid regulations are changed, or the business is further affected by existing regulations, we will notify the Western Cape Gambling & Racing Board that the promotion will change accordingly.
