Every 30 minutes from 10h00 to 14h00 on Thursdays from 17 March until 14 April 2022 at Mykonos Casino, a slot machine will be randomly selected. The person playing that slot machine will choose an envelope containing a prize. Before looking at what that prize is, the winner will then be presented five cards – if you choose the Double Up card, we’ll double your winnings in the prize envelope! We told you it was Double the Fun!

What can I win?

There is R3,000 in FreePlay prizes up for grabs per draw date in Double The Fun. Mykonos Casino will double-up the winnings, if a patron picks the correct card (double-up winnings card), so there could be R6,000 in FreePlay up for grabs per draw date, if all the winners of the day pick the double up winnings card.

When can I win?

Weekly Draw Dates:
Every Thursday – 17, 24, 31 March and 7 & 14 April 2022

Running from 10h00 until 14h00 on Thursdays with draw times at 10h00, 10h30, 11h00, 11h30, 12h00, 12h30, 13h00, 13h30 and 14h00. At each draw time one winner’s lucky machine number will be selected by the Gamesmart Bonus selector.

How can I win?

Rewards Members who play slots anywhere on the Casino floor between 10h00 and 14h00 on draw days, stand a chance to be selected by the GameSmart Bonus Selector.

Every 30 minutes, starting at 10h00, one winner will be announced, between the periods of 10h00 until 14h00.

A total of 9 (nine) winners per draw date.

The numbers of the winning machines will be announced by the Promotions and Events Coordinator, every 30 minutes, starting at 10h00 on the afore-mentioned draw dates.

Each winner will have the opportunity to choose a mystery FreePlay prize out of an envelope, without knowing what the prize will be.

Before looking at what that prize is, the winner will then be presented with five (5) cards (one with wording ‘double your winnings’, two of the cards will read ‘no double up’, one card will read ‘R50 drink voucher’ and the final of the five cards will be a Café Vigour restaurant voucher to the value of R100 to receive as an extra prize). Positive Identification will be required to claim prizes.

    1. No Person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion.
    2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion.
    3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
    4. Entries cannot be purchased for cash or through any other form of consideration, other than points.
    5. All Mykonos Rewards Programme Card Holders (slot machine players) on the entire casino floor, will be eligible to participate in the Double The Fun promotion between 10h00 until 14h00 on Thursdays and stand a chance to be selected via the bonus selector (The Gamesmart bonus selector). Every 30 minutes from 10h00 on the draw days of 17, 24 & 31 March 2022 and 7 & 14 April, one winner will be selected via the bonus selector. A total of 9 winners per draw date will be selected and the winning machine numbers will be announced on the microphone by the Promotions & Events Coordinator.
    6. Winners will be randomly determined in the following manner: The Gamesmart bonus selector is extracted for the entire floor, this will ensure that only active machines are selected.
    7. The first machine on the list each time, will be the relevant winner and will get the opportunity to pick one prize out of an envelope per draw date (patrons are not allowed look into the envelope and prizes are not transferable).
    8. In the event that a selected winner does not want to participate, then they will be disqualified and the second person on the list will be the winner.
    9. As per Management discretion, participants are entitled to only one prize per draw date.
    10. Prize Winners will be selected by way of a Random selection (bonus selector). Guests can only be part of this promotion by actively playing slots on the entire Casino floor. Each prize winner will have the opportunity to select one of the 9 Prizes (FreePlay), by picking an envelope, without knowing what the prizes will be.  The Promotions and Events Coordinator or Marketing Host will then present five cards to the patron. On the one card the wording will be double up winnings and on two of the 5 cards will be the wording no double up, on another card a R50 drink voucher and on the final of the five cards a R100 Café Vigour restaurant voucher). These will be extra prizes.  If a patron for example picks a R200 FreePlay prize out of the envelope and picks the double up card, Mykonos Casino will double up the FreePlay prize to R400.
    11. The FreePlay prize and drink & food vouchers will be given to the patron at the winning machine by the Promotions & Events Coordinator or Marketing host, with security present. The patron will sign for the receipt of the prize at the winning machine and also sign all paperwork (acknowledgement of prize receive and promotional consent form)
    12. All prize winners need to show a valid form of Identification i.e. South African ID, Valid Driver’s Licence, Mykonos Membership card or Passport.
    13. The prize winner must claim the prize at Mykonos Casino within 15 days of the draw.
    14. All decisions of Mykonos Casino will be final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
    15. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
    16. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for this promotion offers, irrespective of the cause for  the technical failure or damage , another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of management and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing board will be informed of any such changes.
    17. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
    18. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
    19. Copies of these Promotional Competition Rules are available at Mykonos Casino’s Customer service desk on request.
    20. Any complaints and/or disputes can be lodged to the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board.
    1. All Covid-19 Safety Regulations and Protocols will be implemented.
    2. In the case that the Covid regulations are changed, or the business is further affected by existing regulations, we will notify the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board that the promotion will change accordingly.
