A total of R50 000 in CASH is up for grabs for the promotional period from Tuesday, 1 November to Sunday, 18 December 2022.

The first selected winner by the electronic draw selector will receive the lowest amount and the 4th selected winner by the electronic draw selector will receive the highest amount.

The Live draw is taking place on 18 December at 20h00.

Draw Mechanics for the live draw on 18 December:

  • The Electronic Draw Selector process will be used to select the 4 winners.
  • Participants may have more than one ticket, but can only win once on Sunday, 18 December.

All Participants are required to be present on the respective dates/times to be eligible for a Prize: Provided that if a participant elects not to be present in person when the winner/s are announced, the participant may nominate another person who has been duly authorized in writing to attend the draw on behalf of a participant in the form and manner determined by management, the details of which will be available at the Customer Services Desk.

 How can I win?

  • The promotion is exclusive to Rewards members.
  • Participants must play Slots or Tables and earn 500 points for a draw ticket between the period Tuesday, 1 November to Sunday, 18 December 2022.
  • 500 points are scheduled for all cardholders (gold, platinum and black)
  • Participants must activate their draw tickets from Thursday, 1 December until Sunday, 18 December at the eHost at Mykonos Casino.
  • The live draw is taking place on 18 December at 20h00.
  1. No person under the age of 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion.
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who fall into the category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion.
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  4. This promotion, FLASH THE CASH, will be exclusive to Mykonos Rewards members and will run from 1 November until 18 December 2022 and the live draw will take place on 18 December at 20h00.
  5. Participants earn points by playing slots or tables using their Mykonos Casino Rewards card.
  6. Participants must earn 500 points from 1 November until 18 December to qualify for a draw ticket.
  7. Participants will have the opportunity to activate their draw tickets at the eHost at Mykonos Casino from 1 December until 18 December 2022.
  8. Draw tickets cannot be purchased through cash, points or any other form of consideration. Tickets will be issued based on points earned on slots or tables during the promotion earning period.
  9. 4 Winners will be selected by the electronic draw selector on 18 December at 20h00 by a marketing representative, with an independent auditor present to oversee the drawing process.
  10. The first drawn ticket selected by the electronic draw selector will receive the lowest prize and the 4th selected winner the highest amount of R20 000.
  11. Participants may be drawn more than once but can only win once on the 18th of December. A re-draw will take place if a winner is selected more than once on the 18th of December 2022.
  12. All Participants are required to be present on the respective dates/times to be eligible for a Prize: Provided that if a participant elects not to be present in person when the winner/s are announced, the participant may nominate another person who has been duly authorized in writing to attend the draw on behalf of a participant in the form and manner determined by management, the details of which will be available at the Customer Services Desk.
  13. Participants or duly authorized representatives shall be required to present themselves within 90 seconds from the time of announcement, and must produce the valid ticket entry (possession of evidence of the winning receipt) and positive and acceptable form of identification e.g. a South African I.D./South African Driver’s Licence/Passport or other official form of identification as approved by the casino and any other details as required. A redraw will occur should participants not present themselves within 90 seconds or if their identity cannot be verified, then they will not be eligible for a prize and a re-draw will take place.
  14. Authorized representatives or a participant shall not be entitled to any prizes and shall not take receipt of prizes accruing to the Participants they represent.
  15. Prizes are to be collected and signed for receipt thereof by the relevant Prize Winner (not representative), as the case may be, within 15 days from the date of the draw from the casino where the prize(s) were won.
  16. It’s the Rewards member’s responsibility to ensure that Mykonos Casino has up to date contact details on our Gamesmart system and winners will be required to produce a positive and acceptable form of identification when they collect their winnings.
  17. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management. The Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be notify of any changes.
  18. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged.
  19. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
  20. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
  21. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  22. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
  23. Any complaints and/or disputes can be lodged with the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board.

  25. In the case that Covid regulations are changed, we will notify the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board that the promotion will change accordingly.
