How can I win?

New Sign Ups to the Mykonos Casino Rewards Programme will receive a manual draw ticket when they opt in for SMS communication.

In compliance with POPIA, existing Rewards Members need to confirm if their details are still correct or update their details on the Gamesmart system and ensure to opt in for SMS communications to be eligible to receive a manual draw ticket.

Five (5) winners will be manually drawn by a marketing representative, with an independent auditor present to oversee the drawing process.

The winning ticket selected, will be verified on the gaming system to check if patron/winner has opted in for SMS communication. If the selected patron opted out during the promotional period, a redraw will take place.

Winners will be contacted via SMS and personal call, if their names are drawn using the contact details provided by the members on the Gamesmart Management System. If the contact details are incorrect, a re- draw will take place.

Prizes are to be collected and signed for receipt thereof by relevant Prize Winners (not representatives) within 15 days from the date of the draw at Mykonos Casino.

This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partner or immediate family members.
  4. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other forms of consideration.
  5. Sign up to our Rewards Programme and opt in for SMS communication and receive 1 draw ticket OR for existing Mykonos Cardholders to visit us and update/confirm their communication details or for them to opt in for SMS communication by 19 September 2021, to receive a manual draw ticket. The draw bin will closed on 19 September at closing time of the Casino. In accordance with the POPIA Act we will continue to protect the privacy when processing the personal information of our guests.
  6. When existing Cardholders update their details, the information gets signed by the patron to confirm that he/she opted in for communication or updated their details. The scanned document will be uploaded onto the patrons profile with all relevant information.
  7. The Non-attendance draw will be held on 20 September at 09h00 at the Mykonos Casino stage before the Casino opens at 09h30.
  8. The winning ticket selected, will be verified on the gaming system to check if patron/winner is still opted in for SMS communication. If patron opted out during the promotional period, a redraw will take place. If the cell phone number does not exist, a redraw will then take place.
  9. Tickets (5 winners) will be manually drawn by a marketing representative, with an independent auditor present to oversee the drawing process.
  10. The first draw ticket will receive the highest prize (R5000 in FreePlay), with the last drawn ticket receiving the lowest prize available.
  11. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for this promotion offers, irrespective of the cause for  the technical failure or damage , another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of management and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing board will be informed of any such changes.
  12. Winners will be contacted via SMS and personal call, if their names are drawn using the contact details provided by the members on the Gamesmart Management System.
  13. Prizes are to be collected and signed for receipt thereof by relevant Prize Winners (not representatives) as the case may be, within 15 days from the date of the draw from the casino where the prize (s) were won.
  14. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged and prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes.
  15. A person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
  16. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  17. Any complaints and/or disputes can be lodged to the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board
  18. All Covid-19 Safety Regulations and Protocols will be implemented.

  20. In the case that the Covid Regulations are changed, or the business is further effected by the existing regulations, we will notify the Gaming Board that the promotion will change accordingly.
