Black Friday double Up – promotional terms and conditions

1. No Person under 18 is allowed to gamble or take part in the small-scale slots bonus promotion Black Friday Double Up.
2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, who is self-excluded, or who falls into the category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from taking part in this promotion.
3. This small-scale slots bonus promotion, Black Friday Double Up, is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
4. Entries cannot be bought for cash or through any other form of consideration, other than points.
5. Mykonos Casino Rewards cardholders (slot machine players) on the entire casino floor, will be eligible to take part in the Black Friday Double Up between 11h30 and 15h30 on 24 November 2023 and stand a chance to be selected via the Gamesmart bonus selector. Every 30 minutes from 11h30, one winner (lucky machine number) will be selected via the bonus selector. A total of 9 winners on the Friday. The winning machine numbers will be announced on the microphone by the Marketing Team.
6. Winners will be randomly decided in the following manner: The Gamesmart bonus selector is extracted for the entire floor, and this will ensure that only active machines are selected.
7. The first machine on the list, each time, will be the relevant winner and will get the opportunity to pick one prize out of an envelope (patrons are not allowed a look into the envelope and prizes are not transferable).
8. The Marketing team, together with Security will then present two cards to the patron. On the one card the wording will be “Double Up” and on the other card “No Double Up”. These will be extra prizes for the winner. If the patron picks the “Double Up” card, Mykonos Casino will double up the Cash prize received from the envelope.
9. The Cash prize voucher will be given to the patron at the winning machine by the Marketing team, with Security present. The prize winner will sign for the receipt at the winning machine and sign all paperwork (acknowledgement of prize receive and promotional consent form).
10. In the event that a selected winner does not want to participate, then they will be disqualified and the second person on the list will be the winner.
11. As per Management discretion, participants are entitled to only one prize on Friday, 24 November 2023.
12. All prize winners need to show a valid form of Identification i.e., South African ID, Valid Driver’s Licence, Mykonos Membership card or Passport.
13. The prize winner must claim the prize at Mykonos Casino within 15 days of the date that the promotion took place.
14. All decisions of Mykonos Casino will be final, and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
15. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
16. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for this promotion offer, irrespective of the cause for the technical failure or damage, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of management and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be notified of any such changes.
17. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
18. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
