This promotion is exclusive to our Mykonos Casino Rewards cardholders and all you must do is earn 1 point from 14 December until 15 December by playing slots or tables with your Mykonos Casino Rewards card – it’s that simple! Ticket activation will take place on 15 December from 13h00 and the live draws will take place at 19h00 and 20h00

At the live draws, 15 winners will be selected via the electronic draw selector and each winner will receive R1000 in Cash

How Can I Win?

 

This promotion is open to all active Mykonos Casino Rewards cardholders.

Points earning is 1 point for all cardholders and our Mykonos Casino Rewards cardholders can start earning their points from 14 December until 15 December 2023, by playing slots or tables with their Mykonos Casino Rewards cards.

Ticket activation will take place at the eHost on Friday, 15 December from 13h00 until 20h00.

The live draws will take place on 15 December at 19h00 and 20h00 and 15 winners will be selected via the electronic draw selector.

5 Winners will be selected at the 19h00 draw and 10 winners at the 20h00 draw.

Participants may be drawn more than once but can only win once at the 19h00 and 20h00 draw. A re-draw will take place if the same winner is selected on the evening.

The draws on 15 December are compulsory for our members to attend. Participants may register to decline to be present at the draws by completing a Proxy Form. Participants may nominate a Proxy to act on their behalf if they choose not to be present. A positive and acceptable form of identification must be presented by both the Participant and Nominee (if applicable) when completing the Proxy Form.

Participants or duly authorized representatives shall be required to present themselves within 90 seconds from the time of announcement and must produce the valid ticket entry (possession of evidence of the winning receipt) and positive and acceptable form of identification e.g., a South African I.D./South African Driver’s Licence/Passport or other official form of identification as approved by the casino and any other details as required. A redraw will occur should participants not present themselves within 90 seconds. If their identity cannot be verified, then they will not be eligible for a prize and a re-draw will take place.

The 15 winners will each receive R1,000 in Cash.

  1. The TRY OUR SIDE promotion is exclusive to active Mykonos Casino Rewards cardholders and the live draws will take place on 15 December at 19h00 and 20h00.
  2. No person under the age of 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in the TRY OUR SIDE
  3. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who fall into the category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion.
  4. The TRY OUR SIDE promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  5. This promotion, TRY OUR SIDE, is open to all active Mykonos Casino Rewards cardholders and our patrons need to earn 1 point from 14 December until 15 December 2023, by playing slots or tables with their Mykonos Casino Rewards cards.
  6. Mykonos Casino Rewards cardholders can activate their draw tickets at the eHost from 13h00 until 20h00 on 15 December, before the live draws at 19h00 and 20h00.
  7. 5 Winners will be selected at the 19h00 draw and 10 winners at the 20h00 draw.
  8. Participants may be drawn more than once but can only win once at the 19h00 and 20h00 draw on the 15th of December. A re-draw will take place if the same winner is selected on the draw evening.
  9. Each of the 15 winners will receive R1,000 in Cash. A total of R15,000 in Cash Prizes up for grabs on 15 December 2023.
  10. Participants may register to decline to be present at the draws by completing a Proxy Form. Participants may nominate a Proxy to act on their behalf if they choose not to be present. A positive and acceptable form of identification must be presented by both the Participant and Nominee (if applicable) when completing the Proxy Form.
  11. The prescribed Proxy Forms will be available at the Customer Service Desk on Friday the 15th of December from 13h00 until 19h00.
  12. Prize winners or Proxies who are present will be given 90 seconds to present themselves and must have evidence of the winning ticket and/or Rewards card belonging to the prize winner and /or a positive and acceptable form of identification.
  13. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 90 seconds, and there is no record of the prize winner declining the invitation to be present by completing the prescribed Proxy Form, a re-draw will take place.
  14. Should a prize winner who is eligible for a prize but is not present as a result of declining an invite to be present for the draw by completing the prescribed Proxy Form, the casino shall take all reasonable steps to contact the prize winner via the contact details provided in the prescribed Proxy Form and/or GMS system. In such circumstances the prize winner may claim the prize within 15 days from the day of the draw at the Customer Service desk.
  15. Nominees shall not be entitled to any prize (s) or benefits and shall not take receipt of prizes accruing to the winner they represent.
  16. Prizes must be collected and signed for the receipt thereof by the relevant Prize Winner (not Nominees), as the case may be, within 15 days from the date of the draw at Mykonos Casino.
  17. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management, and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be notified.
  18. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged.
  19. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered.
  20. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
  21. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  22. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
  23. Copies of these rules are available at the Customer Service Desk upon request or at mykonoscasino.co.za.
  24. Any complaints and/or disputes can be lodged with the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board.
