What Can I Win?​

One person will win a weekend for two at Club Mykonos Resort in Langebaan (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), 2 Breakfast and 2 meal vouchers for two at Café Vigour restaurant at Mykonos Casino – total prize worth R10,000.  

When Can I Win?​

Entries: From Monday, 18 October 2021 until midnight on Sunday, 5 December 2021.
Draw Date: Monday, 6 December 2021
Draw Time: 09h00 (1 winner will be selected via the tombola)

How Can I Win?​

This competition will run from 18 October until 5 December 2021 and the winner will be announced on 6 December 2021 at 09h00 (non-attendance draw before the opening of Mykonos Casino at 09h30).

All patrons who opt in for SMS communication at the customer service desk at Mykonos Casino, will have their details added to a manual draw ticket, with their membership number and contact details to be entered into a tombola on the Casino stage. (Under Surveillance and Security view).

The draw ticket will ensure that only 1 (one) ticket (entry) is issued per guest.

Entries into the competition close on 5 December 2021 at midnight, where after no entries will be allowed. A manual draw will take place (winning ticket will be selected via the tombola) on Monday, 6 December at 09h00, when the ticket drawn will be checked to ensure it is valid in line with the necessary CPA rules.

  1. No persons under 18 is allowed to participate in this promotion.
  2. Any persons who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded or who fall into the category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion.
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partner or immediate family members.
  4. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other forms of consideration.
  5. Sign up to our Rewards Programme and OPT IN for SMS communication OR for existing cardholders to update their details/confirm their contact details or OPT in for SMS communication from 18 October until 5 December 2021 at Mykonos Casino. In accordance with the POPIA Act we will continue to protect the privacy when processing the personal information of our guests.

  7. When existing Cardholders update their details, the information gets scanned and the document will be uploaded onto the patrons profile with all relevant information.
  8. The Non-Attendance draw will be held on 6 December at 09h00 at the Mykonos Casino stage before the Casino opens at 09h30 and only 1 winner will be selected from the combined entries collected.
  9. The winning ticket selected, will be verified on the gaming system to check if patron/winner is still opted in for SMS communication. If patron opted out during the promotional period, a redraw will take place. If the cell phone number does not exist, a redraw will then take place.
  10. One ticket will be manually drawn by a marketing representative, with an independent auditor present to oversee the drawing process.
  11. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for this promotion offers, irrespective of the cause for  the technical failure or damage , another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of management and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing board will be informed of any such changes.
  12. The winner will be contacted via SMS and personal call, if his/her name is drawn using the contact details provided by the members on the Gamesmart Management System.
  13. Prizes are to be collected and signed for receipt thereof by relevant Prize Winner (not representatives) as the case may be, within 15 days from the date of the draw from the casino where the prize (s) were won.
  14. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged and prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes.
  15. A person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
  16. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  17. The prize is for two people only and excludes transport from and to the venue.
  18. The accommodation prize excludes public holidays, school holidays, special days and subject to availability and ONLY for two people.
  19. The accommodation offer is only available for the 6 month period, from 17 January until 30 June 2022.
  20. Neither Tsogo Sun Casino Management Company (PTY) Limited its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, their Directors, Officers, employees or agents shall be liable for any loss, damage, injury or death suffered by the prize winner or any of his/her invitees, as a result of the prize winner having taken up the prize. The prize winner hereby indemnifies and holds harmless the Tsogo Sun Casino Management Company for any such loss, damage, injury or death
  21. Any complaints and/or disputes can be lodged to the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board.
  22. Copies of these rules are available at Mykonos Casino’s Customer Service desk upon request and Mykonos Casino’s website (mykonoscasino.co.za).
  23. All Covid-19 Safety Regulations and Protocols will be implemented.
  24. In the case that the Covid Regulations are changed, or the business is further effected by the existing regulations, we will notify the Gaming Board that the promotion will change accordingly.
