Keep calm, ons gaan NOU braai!
Mykonos Casino, your favourite entertainment destination on the West Coast, will be hosting its annual braai competition on National Heritage Day, Tuesday, 24 September, to celebrate our colourful South African heritage. This highly anticipated event will take place at Marc’s Beach Bar, Club Mykonos Resort and promises to be nothing short of unforgettable fun with live music, children’s entertainment and celebrity judges.
The competition kicks off at 09h00. Teams will be judged by our panel of three celebrity judges, Elmarie Leonard, John Grundlingh and Marc Warmerdam at 13h00 sharp. This gives your team a full four hours to prepare a three-course themed meal without using any electricity or gas – more than enough time to braai, yak, laugh and tease your opponents! The judges will be looking for team spirit, picture-perfect presentation and, of course, top-notch taste.
The winning team will take home a first-place prize of R4 000, while the second and third runners up will win prizes of R2,000 and R1,000 respectively. There will also be prizes for the Best Theme and Best Spirit.
