Mykonos Casino Celebrates Mothers

To celebrate Mother’s Day, Mykonos Casino invited 30 moms, on 11 May to the local nature reserve in Buffelsfontein, situated on the R27 in the heart of the West Coast. This 1,600ha family-owned reserve is home to some of Africa’s most majestic animals such as lion, buffalo, white rhino and giraffe.

On arrival, the guests were welcomed with coffee and special gifts (branded beanies and scarves) from Mykonos Casino. They then got to try their hand at target shooting, after which they were taken on an unforgettable, two-hour guided game drive. The moms were surrounded by beautiful natural scenery and magnificent wildlife, including lion, buffalo, cheetah, zebra, springbok, kudu, rhino, eland, giraffe and blue wildebeest.

After the exciting game drive, they were treated to a mouth-watering braai buffet and got to enjoy their time together. All of the moms said that they felt honoured to be part of this amazing experience and truly appreciated the warm West Coast hospitality they received.

The moms were also spoiled on Mother’s day, with decadent chocolate treats and a special performance by local artist, Louis van Lill. Pampering was also provided by La Vita Spa, where the ladies were indulged with scents and lotions.

“Mother’s Day at Mykonos Casino was definitely magical this year. The love and appreciation shown to all mothers on this special day by their families was overwhelming and heart-warming to say the least,” says Natasha Brand, Marketing Manager at Mykonos Casino.
